: San Francisco
You know what? I decided that I'm actually going to post on here for once ( GASP!) so, here it goes:
So yesterday we spent the whole day at San Francisco, showing granma and grandpa the strangest city in California. We stopped off at the Golden Gate bridge for photos, then visited a beautiful Japanese garden and later visited a little lake around the Exploratorium. We also went on this tower at an art museum and got an amazing view of the whole city.
After a trip down the world's most crooked street, we headed over to my personal favorite, Fisherman's Warf and had a good time watching the street performers from artists to musicians to breakdancers. We ate, and then took a turn over to an aquarium which is designed so that you are "under the bay" and the animals swim right over you and all around! It's freaky when gigantic sharks aproach you from all angles, lol. We even got to touch a leopard shark, sting rays and sea urchins.
As hours went by and we journeyed through the shops, we came over to where the sealions are. Man those things are noisy. You can hear their barking, roaring and snorting from far away. Anyways, so the sealions are floating there, having a good time when a huge sealion pops out of the water to try and get on the float as well. Then the lions that were already there barked at him furiosley like saying, "Get the hell off!" and he leaped back to the water and swam in a different direction, lol.
To finish our trip, we headed over to this collection of OLD american entertainment things, like pianos that play by themselves and really old "put-a-quarter-in" games and amusements from the 20's and before. I'm all, this is how people entertained themselves back then!??? Lol, it was really neat though, to see things like steam motorcycles and dancing puppets conserved so well.
After that we headed back home. San Francisco's a lot of fun. I do have a bunch of photos and I will upload those later in a post edit. Until then, bye!
